The 6th studio album shows that Celtica is still hungry for adventure even after 15 years on tour. In 10 original compositions and a Gary Moore/Nightwish cover, they combine the experience of hundreds of live shows across the globe with incredible power and joy of playing. The style and the band sound have clearly evolved, and for the first time there are also rock songs sung: “As we all like to sing, we have incorporated singing into our performances in recent years, and thank God that has been very well received by the audience”. The symbiosis of rocking bagpipes and powerful voices comes into its own in the new songs – one wonders why they didn’t do this earlier… An album that invites to dance, rock out and listen!
The masterful musicality of all the artists involved adds up to an outstanding album of the Celtic scene, full of epic drama and pure joie de vivre.
